The entrance to this newly built modern home in Malvern is impressive with large paved stairs leading to an imposing timber front door but beyond the home lies the most tranquil Japanese space. Our Japanese garden can be viewed from the tatami floored tea room and adds to the beauty of the traditional ceremonial practice of preparing tea. Ladies in kimonos can often be seen enjoying this garden and regularly comment on its authenticity, feeling as though they have been transported back to Japan.
